Fall is one of the most beautiful times of the year along the Chippewa River. Imagine not being able to enjoy the spectacular green, yellow and orange foliage because you need glasses, or are impaired by a condition that requires surgery or even a new set of eyes.
The Second Annual Lions Club Bike for Sight Ride offers a chance for you and your family to celebrate your gift of sight by supporting local sight conservation programs such as the Lions Eye Bank of Wisconsin, which last year provided eye tissue for more than 800 sight-providing surgeries.
Treat your eyes to the scenery of the Chippewa River State Trail and Bike for Sight on Sept. 6. Choose from 50K, 30K, 15K, 10K or 7K distances.
Your participation will help people preserve, correct and restore the Gift of Sight.
